We sat down with two integral members of the Young Media team, Sergio, the Marketing Specialist, and Daniel, the Editorial & Multimedia Producer, to discuss their journey, the Spanish team’s impact, and what the future holds for the company.

 

A Passion for People and Stories
Sergio and Daniel both have international backgrounds that shaped their careers and passions. Sergio, with a love for languages and culture, lived in Saint Petersburg, Vienna, Brussels, and now Valencia, finding a deep connection with marketing as a way to shape stories and engage people. Daniel, originally from Lima, has worked in journalism and communications for almost 15 years across Mexico, Peru, the US, and Spain. With a passion for storytelling and cultural exchange, he emphasizes the importance of connecting with audiences on a meaningful level.

 

Spain: A Hub for Creativity and Multicultural Influence
The Spanish team is essential to Young Media’s growth. Valencia, known for its vibrant creative scene, serves as a hub for new ideas and innovative projects. Additionally, the multicultural makeup of the Spanish team enhances Young Media’s global perspective, providing fresh viewpoints for every project. With professionals from various backgrounds, the company is able to expand its creative potential even further.
And, of course, there’s the added perk for Dutch employees, “Now they have a place to enjoy some sun”, Daniel jokes.

 

Exciting Projects and Big Goals
One of the most exciting projects is the scaling up of TPO, a Dutch news platform. The focus is on developing a strong brand identity and ensuring it resonates with audiences. “It’s a huge and beautiful challenge to reshape the future of TPO and expand its universe,” says Daniel. Young Media is committed to delivering new products and positioning TPO on an international stage.
Young Media is not just another content company, they strive to produce high-quality, engaging content that speaks to a wide range of audiences while bringing something fresh and valuable to the media landscape.
